“About” Ebenezer
Ebenezer Cemetery is a lovely country cemetery located on what is now one of the busiest corners in the Milton/Roswell, Georgia area. It was established in
1854 as a sacred final resting spot for area pioneers and prominent community leaders and their loved ones. Familiar names such as Chafin, Chadwick, Cox,
Dorris, Earney, Etris, Lackey, King, Reece, and Rucker are scattered throughout the cemetery.
Fast forward to 2018 and envision a sad cemetery ravaged by the years. It was at that time a group of caring folks began upgrading, renovating, and planting.
Historical research was done and documented. The community took notice and Ebenezer became an eye-catching bright spot for thousands of commuters.
Ground penetrating radar was performed. Plots are being sold again to those seeking cremation or full burials.
